The Swiss Death Metal band CARNAL DECAY signs for two more albums with FASTBEAST ENTERTAINMENT. The upcoming release will be namend "Chopping Off The Head". After listening to the first audio samples the sound can be described as considerably more groovy and technical than on the forerunner "Carnal Lust". Nevertheless "Chopping Off The Head" will be a two-fisted Death Metal album the American way! CARNAL DECAY will present the album exclusivly for the first time on the open-air festival MOUNTAINS OF DEATH VIII taking place the 22^nd and 23^rd of August 2008.  |

NUCLEAR BLAST is very proud to announce its newest signing: technical brutal Death Metal institution DECREPIT BIRTH from Santa Cruz, California.
The band, founded in 2001, has so far released two highly acclaimed albums, …And Time Begins and Diminishing Between Worlds in 2003 and 2008. Here´s a statement from the band:
 NUCLEAR BLAST has a special tradition for signing
some of the best Metal acts of all time including DEATH, DIMMU BORGIR, TESTAMENT
and EXODUS just to name a few. We feel very lucky and honoured to be a part of
the family! Our intention is to take the music to the next level and continue
to release quality Progressive Death Metal. We are confident to have NUCLEAR
BLAST in our corner! We also want to thank Unique Leader Records very much for
the years of dedication to DECREPIT BIRTH. After we complete more touring in
support of the current release, we will begin pre-production for the next album. |

 Vomiting Putrid Blasphemy' is one of the most brutal split CDs since 'North-West Slam Fest' and features PUTREFY, BLASPHTIZED and VOMITOUS RECTUM. The bands are from N.Ireland, England and the USA respectively and churn out a sickening display of crushing death metal complete with punishing slams, guttural vocals and some violent grooves

London gorelords Gorerotted have changed their name to The Rotted, saying, "The motives behind what we were doing with Gorerotted have changed over the years, and as a mark of respect for what we achieved, for previous band members and for fans, we didn't feel it was right to continue under our previous monicker. This album is gonna blow people away, I couldn't even classify it for you if I tried, all I can say is its heavy as fuck, catchy as hell and a piece of work we're all incredibly proud of. People have been affectionally refering to us as The Rotted for some time now, so it seemed like a decent change to us."
